The toaster rocks! How can it be that you havent found a manufacturer yet???!!! This companies are full of dumbasses that cant see something great when is right there infront of their eyes!
I would seriously go for 50-75$ cuz is smart, looks great in the kitchen, doesnt take as much space as a normal toaster, in brief is great! Plus you can easily expand the brand and have tons of smart sub brands matching this product, well done man!

My teenaged son loves this and I would happily pay $50 US. Great design. We actually assumed the ground plate was also warming but since it is not plz include in the final product. That would set it apart from similar designs.

I’d pay $100 if it burned or left untoasted words and pictures (more if it was wireless or bluetooth enabled). I’d probably pay $50 without that.

Congratulations on morphing art with utility - I really hope that you manage to get the necessary commercial interest to make this concept a reality.

Much as I’d like to say that I agree with the pricing suggested by others thus far I think that you could easily find market interest at a substantially higher unit price - I can see an innovative and ‘arty’ design such as yours retailing for c.£125.00-£150.00 in the UK, but it would have to be a well-made and well-executed piece of reliable engineering as well as a kitchen talking-point.

Do please let us know how things progress - I think you’re on to a winner.

What an awesome idea. Not only is it beautifully designed but practical to. No more having to hold the toaster upside down and shake it to clean the crumbs out as they probably all fall out of the bottom to. Genius! ^_^

I HOPE you are going to sell in the US through Target. Only the best dressed appliances are marketed through Target - ie. those that win design awards, that are designed by known designers ( you are becoming one) like Michael Graves, my current favorite . I would pay $24.95 - that doesn’t reflect badly on the product, it is a marketing strategy to get the product out there and into the homes of the average American with above average tastes (Mr and Mrs beer budget, champagne tastes). Considering a productivity of 1 toast per minute there would be necessary low power. If you include a cip with a bit of software to manage pre heating and variable speed, to obtain different level of toasting and an eye to check the “bownness”, the right price shoud be, in my opinion, around 100€.
I hope you will produce it and include a model with my personal wishes. I promis. I’ll buy it.
